Here I used Masonite hard board, a pressed board commonly used for various art, including acrylic, and oil, and even as a rigid backing for dry-mounted watercolor paper. This 24"x 30" board was gessoed several times prior to applying a very dark Indigo Blue & Payne's Gray mixture of oil, while leaving areas of light streaks for adding reflections.

World Of Color
Latest offering on eBay, two canvas piece, 18"x18" each of 3/4" deep gallery wrapped panel. "World Of Color" has an antiqued gold metallic background. I love the city theme, especially in abstract, and this oil painting fills a great many places in my artists heart, including that of a warm over-all glow.
